Liner Notes[]

In a historic collaboration between two of Southern Gospel's best known recording compaines, Homeland and Daywind have captured many of the special moments from the 1999 National Quartet Convention for your enjoyment.

Every September, tens of thousands of Southern Gospel fans flock to Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky, to experience the "Granddaddy of all Gospel Singings."

The National Quartet Convention began in 1957 as the fulfillment of a lifelong dream of Gospel legend J.D. Sumner. Over the years, the NQC has been the setting for countless memorable moments featuring the best artists in Southern Gospel music. From the Blackwoods, Statesmen and Stamps to the Cathedrals, Gold City, Hoppers and Greater Vision, hundreds of performers have graced NQC's hallowed stage to share the Gospel through tight four-part and family harmonies which make Southern Gospel a unique art form.

We know you will love your NQC "experience." Please join us next year in person. The memories await you....
